My favorite thing about being a mom is getting to laugh with Jackson. There is nothing better than baby laughter. Something about it just makes me remember just why I love him so much. It doesn’t take a lot to remind of that though.
The unconditional love that we are able to share! The great belly laughs that come from them. The cuddles. The smiles. The daily rewards. … oopss you asked favorite, I guess I should have limited to 1, but that’s impossible!
What a great website ladies…I love it!! Wow, to pick one thing is almost impossible, but I would have to say the sweet, spontaneous hugs that Tanner gives me. They melt my heart!
You guys did great–anyway the best thing besides the kisses is the do-overs!! With my kids no matter how bad I think the day went, the next day is brand new–a do-over. I can start all over at being a perfect Mom every day and they keep giving me the chance.
Wow!…this was harder to answer then I thought it would be.There is no way I can say just one thing. I have three children who are all so different. My favorite thing about being Lee J.’s mom is all the great hugs and kisses that I get and conversations that we have. He can ask some great questions and give some great hugs and kisses just when you need them. Being Garrett’s mom is great too! He loves to rub my ear lobes and to be held. In those quiet moments when I hold him he truly melts my heart. He’s sorta like a tiny teddy bear.
My favorite thing about being Kara’s mom is waking up with her every morning. She truly is a “Morning Sunshine”. She overflows with smiles and coos which starts my day off better than a cup of coffee. : ) …God did good when he made the little children. I think it keeps getting sweeter and sweeter with the more you have.
So many things to choose from…. I guess it would be that after a long day, they can make me smile again. I also love watching my daughter go from shy little girl to a confindent big girl.
Having five beautiful faces smile at me everyday and seeing what amazing little people they are becoming. Each one, with their own personality just swells my heart with love each and every day.
My favority thing about being a mom is getting the opportunity to LOVE someone(s) this much. It’s honestly indiscribable to someone who isn’t a parent. I love my husband and I love my parents and family, sure, but the love a mother has for her children is just more than you can put into words.
My favorite thing about being a mom is the unconditional love and acceptance that is always there even when I’m not at my best and last but certainly NOT least – being able to watch my children grow up to be healthy beautiful adults and then enjoying the grandchildren! )
My favorite thing about being a mom is the UNKNOWN–I am a person who usually likes to have things planned out, but when you’re mom, you never what your kids will do or say or what they will become someday. There is something beautiful and fun about having no idea what to expect next–even though I try to be completely prepared! It definitely makes me rely on God more than I ever thought possible.
My Favorite thing about being a mom is EVERYTHING! I love playing with Joshua, I love it when he laughs when I’m being oh so very silly! The kind of silly you hope no one else but your child ever sees. I love making him feel better. Knowing that sometimes I’m the only one that can make it all go away. I love waking up on the morning and seeing his perfect face smiling at me knowing it’s a new day. There really is no way to put it other than I love everything about being a mom!
Great website you two, way to go! Let me know when you think you’ll be on Oprah so I can set my DVR!!!!! I think my favorite thing about being a mom is that I get to be Holly and Alex’s mom and it is such a privilege to be chosen for them. I love looking in their sweet faces and seeing a part of Adam and myself. I feel like I’ve learned how to have fun with every part of my life, no matter how mundane, because I’m always trying to create joy and happiness for someone else. It’s such a blast and there is no greater gift.
Thanks for the invite Amanda! My favorite thing is hearing our 20-month old singing “Deep & Wide” all day long.
My favorite thing for now, anyway…
My favorite thing about being a mom is watching the joy my children express in their play and how easily amused they are. They have so much fun in their every day lives. I think it reminds me to enjoy the simple things and enjoy life!
Thank you everyone for all the kind words and comments! I have been jumping out of my skin in excitement over the response from all of you. I really hope that you will like the content we will be posting.
My favorite thing about being a mom is when I go wakeup Ace and she rolls over and smiles at me. It really melts my heart. I agree with Dawn, that is my favorite thing right now…
The smiles, laughter, bear hugs, cuddles, and unconditional love I receive are some of my favorite things about being a mother. Whether you woke up from the wrong side of the bed or upset at your child for disobeying you; a simple hug, kiss, or “I love you mommy” melts my heart as would any other parent.
My favorite thing about being a mommy are the slobbery kisses, the high fives, and the way too short snuggle sessions my kids give me. I can’t wait for “I love you, Mommy” from my kids when they are saying more words! That is going to melt me into a puddle!
