I’ll start….my favorite thing to save some $$ is to head on over to Kid to Kid, a resale shop that is amazing! There are a lot of things that are brand new with tags still attached. I recently found the cutest never worn leather Tommy Girl tennis shoes for Darah and they are super cute…and were only $7.99!! I’m anxious to hear any other tips you all have to share!
My favorite place to find great quality and easy on the wallet for baby and toddler clothing…hit the best department stores (Nordstrom’s, Neium marcus, Macys, and others) and hit the clearence section usually in the back. I got Brielle Christmas dress from Macy’s normally 54.00 for 4 dollars!!! As well from Nordstroms a dress that was normally almost 300.00 for $15.00. The trick is to but for the following year, know what the sizes are going to be. Who cares if it is this season or that season. I am not all in to fashion but I love a great deal!
I love to go to garage sales on Saturday mornings! I think Kara’s wardrobe is almost all used clothing. It’s the best when they are babies because the clothes are pretty much new and in good condition. The older the kids get the less I find for them…so that’s when I head over to Kohls, Target, and J.C.Penneys.
I too shop at KID to Kid and twice a year at the Live Oak Civic Center Kids Sale.
I pretty much do the same thing. I buy out of season at department stores and buy 1 size ahead. I save tons of money that way. I also shop at a local kids resale place called Sweet Repeats. They are located on my side of town so it is easy to get to. I do want to check out Kid to Kid becuase they aren’t far away. Another one that has been in San Antonio for years is Kids Junction. They always have nice clothes, toys, and they sell older kids sizes too.
